Am also wondering about Jamie Nutbrown v Kevin Senio... nodding to Senio because of the All Black cap and combination with Jackson?
Was looking up Joe Tauiwi and spotted this in an article about Ralph leaving the Cantab squad against us for Tauiwi's funeral:
New Zealand Colts flanker Richard McCaw replaces Johnny Leo'o on the openside, and Canterbury's two Pacific Island wings, Marika Vunibaka and Afato So'oalo, return after injury to replace Ralph and Joe Naufahu.
The highly-regarded McCaw will play his second NPC match after making his debut against North Harbour last year.
"Richie is a player we think a lot of and he's been working very hard," Hansen said.
We must have played that McCaw bloke into contention for the 2001 EOYT.

Just "fuck Arthur Stone" would have done. That intercept damaged me for life. People wonder how serial killers are created. It's intercept tries in a shield match at an impressionable age.

I don't really consider Tipoki to be a Bay player.
I'm sort of in the same camp with Cashmore. Even though he's a Bay boy (i played cricket with his brother. And Jacko's actually) he is really an Auckland player. Cashmore at least racked up a few games at the end there.

Hey all, not really sure what the objective is, but if we're looking for a few players to make up a NPC BoP XV and we don't have to focus on amount of games we played, then by scrolling through and potentially listing a couple not mentioned then we could add a few more flankers..(probably better than more wingers anyway lol), Nili Latu, Luke Braid, Razor (pretty sure played for us first).
Other noteable mentions..
couple of bookends - Tau Filise, Tevita Taumoepeau,
locks - Greg Rawlinson (if not picked by Harbour), Willis (played for us first),
if we have to pick wingers Jasin Goldsmith, Peter Woods, Mesaga (will be at Counties surely)
surely midfield should include AB Mark Taylor?urgh, cant think of others off the top of my head, but hope that helps

Brett Sinkinson was another I wondered about for that mix with Nili Latu.
Maybe get Wayne Ormond and Paul Tupai to boss the opposition in the front row alongside Hika Reid, then 12 other flankers to join them.
