@Kiwiwomble sorry, forgot about Joseph, just added him, I considered him, but not there just yet i'd say/ He's a great player though
-
@NateHill74 Move Stephen Bachop to your 1st 5 list.
Another halfback is Dean Kenny. He was the reason Kirk moved to Auckland as Mains favoured him.

Gordy McPherson and Richard Knight provided yeoman service in the 80s and very early 90s (I think both were in the 1991 NPC champion side still) but Maling, Ryan and Donnelly were all more talented, and Timmins was just a rock in the great Otago teams of 1993-1995.

Brew was a dominant player at NPC level for Otago. A possible smokey for the Naki side even.

I remember him looking great at Taranaki, coming south and being particularly average then pulling out a top-drawer performance against the 2005 Lions. That might be a slight rewriting of history, but I didn't think much of him in an Otago jersey up to that point.

He always reminded me of the drawings of Greeks in the Asterix comics.
Oh, and ok when he moved into centre from wing.

Now you mention it, you're bloody right!

Yep. I recall a good chip and chase try from him for the Naki, but bugger all down the tramlines for Otago.

@Kiwiwomble couldn't squeeze Timu in? Could he play on the left instead of Cook?
