Gordy McPherson and Richard Knight provided yeoman service in the 80s and very early 90s (I think both were in the 1991 NPC champion side still) but Maling, Ryan and Donnelly were all more talented, and Timmins was just a rock in the great Otago teams of 1993-1995.

Brew was a dominant player at NPC level for Otago. A possible smokey for the Naki side even.
