@Donsteppa yous got what yous wanted

Johnson is a precious idiot. We all had our suspicions and now he's confirmed it. This is not to be confused with a grub. He isn't malicious. He's just a bit of a princess.
But that said the NRL judiciary is so overdone. It should be a lawyer-less affair with bugger-all to it. The NRL love this shit, all the drama, and media coverage.

@mariner4life I will feel good about the Warriors chances next year only if word comes out that the players are fitter than they have ever been.
And a new coach always fills me with great confidence

Ever followed the AFL tribunal? That circus is worst

@ACT-Crusader the last time I followed any afl. Brisbane Were the premiers

I’ve seen some dumb league in my time, but that first half from the Warriors was right up there. Started from the first set too where we give up awesome field position for a nothing turnover.
Second half we have looked a different side no jinx here

Just saw that Blake Green did his ACL today.
It seemed innocuous in real time and then on the replay you could see the knee buckle.
Hard too see him coming back from that given age and type of injury.
Yeah, you'd think thats him out to pasture, at least in the NRL. A Super League team may well get a bargain contract from him, i guess

Despite the dumb first half, that was one of the more pleasing wins for the season for me. I thought at 10 nil down, short-handed that we were done for and it would end up a blowout. Pleasantly surprised with the grit they showed to run over the top of them. Granted the dogs are wooden spoon contenders, but it so easily could have ended up differently.

Several positive notes for me. I have not seen the Warriors 10, who is a meast, and Turner the reserve fullback that played standoff looks a real player. A foundation to build on

Good win by the Warriors. Looked like a pretty average game off footy, as you would expect given the teams on show. They have shown themselves to be pretty bloody resilient this year.
Broncos saga on going. Story at the moment is Seibold is being offered $1M to walk away now. That's not a bad deal...
This week's story is crusher tackles. Mid-season changes don't always work. NRL decide they need stamping out, so instantly make the sanctions higher. Lo and behold, there are suddenly heaps of them in a weekend, and players are staying down to get penalties.
Pressure on the neck is inevitable when "post contact metres" are suddenly massively important, and players are backing in to tackles and continuing to drive forward. A couple of tackles penalised on the weekend were nothing, but because of the mechanics involved, contact to the neck area is inevitable. And attacking players fucking know it. Refs need to know the difference between a player falling the wrong way, and a Russell Packer power bomb.

And in today;s episode of "what fucked up story is coming out of Brisbane"
Tevita Pangai Jr has apparently told the NRL about his side, unregistered third party deal. It's apparently what the Broncos used to keep him at the club for unders on his last contract.
They've tried to sack him, he's spilled on the club, and now 3rd party deals are on the table.
There will be a few nervous clubs around, and a few players with a lot more power if he has done this
of course, it probably comes at the cost of his NRL career. Who is going to hire him after all of this?

Going by who are currently on their wish list then probably the Warriors.

On a five year contract.

@Nepia that link has already been made
and i just read that we offered him $800k last year? and that was the offer the Broncos beat by offering him $650
I wouldn't sign, he is the exact type of player we are trying to avoid (i hope)

He has "Sione Faumuina 2.0", written all over him. Talented but comes with all his own personal issues which will likely continue to detract from his career.
