Between my holiday and my brother visiting from LA my fatbusting has turned into fatgaining. Am nice and brown though. -
Well the scales shamed me into starting this again. I'm almost got to 87kg around Christmas, which for this short arse is approaching beached whale proportions.<br />
<br />
Have just finished the "cleanest" month I've had in a long time, and today have reached the first 5kg weight loss target (next one is to get under 80kg, and the final is to get to 75kg).<br />
<br />
So after sticking to bugger all booze (two beers and a whiskey all month, 20 days in a row without), less than 2000 calories a day, and at least three cardio sessions a week, I've been averaging 1.3kg off a week.<br />
<br />
So am now 81.6 kg.<br />
<br />
This last two kg for the second target has been hard, think it's time to add in weights to shock the body as I think it's got used to the cardio (even though a decent proportion of them have been 90min sessions). Might move the cardio to mornings as well to confuse the fat <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rolleyes:' /><br />
<br />
Hard to describe how good I feel without the sugar too. No headaches, lots of energy, hardly ever tired. -

How tall are you Kirwan?..im just under 5ft 11 and currently weigh 89 ks,have a small frame so its all gathering in the middle :shifty:..im guessing i should weigh around 75-80kg's. -
[quote name='Kirwan']<br />
5ft 8 on a good day, so 87 was not good!<br />

<br />
Just a little fella!..thats what i keep saying i am..just too many damn yummy temptations out there,surely having coke zero with my rum/bourban isnt that bad? -
Hit an annoying plateau, so hit it with a week off exercise and more calories per day (and a complete day off of drinking and mucho foodo). Initially, that put a kg back on but that's back off and I've moved down to 81kg now. 1kg to my second goal of being under 80kg (will be the first time in over four years).<br />
<br />
Have lost 1.7kg this week so far. Been a good week. Starting to see a real difference now, going in two belt notches being the most noticable. -
is all good Mr K - well done and keep it going,<br />
<br />
Those rest periods are essential, I sometimes get a bit stale with my rowing and rest. But am so addicted to it that after a cuple of days I am raring to go again, and in fact sometiumes my rest is just rowing 5k stretches once a day instead of longer or two a day rowing sessions.<br />
<br />
Anyway - rest is good, and the day off eating thing pretty handy too.<br />
<br />
You'll be a super runt under 80kg though, careful when you go to the beach, Baron will kick sand in your face <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> -
Baron's on 70kg isn't he? I have a long way until I catch him <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> When I hit 75kg, there won't be much in it I guess.
-
Sweet Jesus. I got pissed off at the rate of weight loss and upped the intensity (and order) of the cardio and went last night and this morning. Had some fluids and thought I'd check out the weight anyway.<br />
<br />
79.6kg! First time under 80kg in over 5years and exactly 7kgs lost so far in 8 weeks.<br />
<br />
That's two goals achieved, next stop 75kg. -
Holiday wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, have only put on 2kgs. Considering the change in diet/alcohol and lack of exercise that's acceptable.<br />
<br />
Now to get back into it <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> -

<br />
So what are you now 81kgs? -
Still rocking on. Taking a bit to get back to 80 again - damn holiday! Am under 81 though so it's coming.<br />
<br />
Annoyingly, that puts me at exactly the halfway mark to 75kg. 5.8kgs lost, 5.8kgs to go <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /><br />
<br />
Weight loss has gone from an easy 1.3kg off a week, to horrible small numbers like 0.3 and 0.4. Long journey, small steps.....<br />
<br />
On a brighter note, I no longer fit my new suit (bought at peak porkiness) and almost don't fit my other suit either. So clothes are getting much, much looser. Almost lost my double chin too, so it's still coming off just not showing on the scales so much.
