Cameron Smith is a marvel ,most nrl games in history, He would be excused from falling away now , but keeps on performing , most consistent player I’ve ever seen
His comments post game about them needing to adjust were actually very interesting. He said their structured style actually prevented them from taking opportunities in this quicker game.

I only saw the last 15 mins but the Storm got lucky with 2 50/50 ref decisions. Firstly the penalty for the high tackle and then the Klemmer tackle off the ball. I don't think they changed the result but made the final score more flattering. Great try and strength by Brandon Smith.

what a towel up. The Roosters are just set up to to play this style of footy. They have hard, mobile forwards with good footwork (who also double as punishing defenders) then guys like Keary, Tedesco and Friend who have quick feet through the middle. They just work you over through the middle, hunting in packs until you are too tired to defend them.
But they can still play out wide if they want too, with Manu, Tupou, and the Morris boys ready to carve you up. Flanagan looks a gun, he's calm and organised.
It's going to take a fucking good performance to stop them.

I'm backing out of that now, when i look at their team. They have a lot of guys who wouldn't be on big money. Add in guys taking unders to be there and win, and i have more faith they are under this year than previous.
