And how about Hornacek stroking his face 3 times (for his 3 children) before every FT attempt. It was so funny to watch but the ball usually went through the hoop.
Sure did, 88% career FT shooter.
I love some of the FT rituals. Some might remember the Harold Miner routine when he was USC. I was a dribble three times and spin the ball in both hands two times guy...
Best FT from the 90s was MJ answering Mutumbo's trash talking by shooting with his eyes closed and making it
How good do you have to be to pull that off!!?? What a champ.
Plenty of people could make a FT with their eyes closed. It’s a great H-O-R-S-E shot. But to talk smack and then hit it is what makes this so good.

That’s what mean. Backing up on the spot. We used to take blind free throws all the time and get the odd one or two. Under game pressure and giving lip and then nailing it.... How?
So awesome.

All the latest info around a possible resumption:
I've said previously that I think the NBA would need to get to 70 games in order to give the teams just outside the play off picture the chance to qualify. I think if a team just outside the play-offs but with games in hand couldn't play those games, team owners could lawyer-up.
Another option which I think would be fun viewing is to scrap the RS and play an FA Cup style knock-out comp. Teams would be seeded based on current standings and still grouped into Eastern and Western conferences, but the #1 seed in each conference would play a series against the bottom seed etc, teams would then advance to conference finals and the NBA Finals.
-
The NHL was at a similar point in their season when they stopped and seem to be leaning towards a 24-team playoff format. That would mean that 7 teams are eliminated when the season resumes but 8 additional teams make the playoffs. In the NBA, it's only the WC where there are a couple of teams on the bubble so they probably don't need to be so generous.

Legend of a coach. Longevity and to keep evolving his team after Stockton and Malone showed just how good he was.
-
An interesting idea floated is a World Cup style pool stage, followed by a traditional finals format. Top 20 teams are placed in four pools of five, and play eachother twice each before the play-offs are locked in.
More details here, but I love it as a concept.

@mariner4life I wonder if they'll try and manoeuvre to avoid scheduling clashes with NFL - they would get crushed in the ratings.

I think the public have been so sports starved they will binge watch all of it

Loved the last Dance overall, but agree with @voodoo above who said it could've been cut in half in terms of length.
Unpopular opinion (on here) but I think Lebron is the GOAT even more than MJ now.
Doc Rivers says it better than me (although he still thinks its MJ):

I really fucking hate math in sport.

Yep. Tim Southee took about a thousand wickets in Perth and Melbourne. He must also be the GOAT.
Isn’t he though?
