it's like you fuckers have only just jumped on the Black Cap bandwagon, and have no idea of history...
I'm all about looking forward, not backwards

A very nervy 4 balls in a row for Latham...
Survived a probable inside edge to the keeper, then 3 LBW shouts...
The inside edge was Blundell, they ran through. Wasn't given as a Leg Bye
It was too.
On the replays I reckon there was a noise as the ball went past the bat. -

especially if you get a fine edge

Bear in mind my hopelessness and ignorance, but why don't they just stand further down the pitch to eliminate the late swing? (Warner does that well)
It's one option, but it reduces your time to see and play the ball - takes real talent to be prepared to do that and do it well (fuck it burns to say that about Warner...)

Batting conditions look tough out there, so every run is golden. Would be tempting to promote Colin to 3 with a licence to swing. A quick fire thirty wins the game now.
How about Colin just stays damn well put and these guys tough it out!!!

Be a big trade-off.
You'd shorten your time to react to deliveries and also shorten whatever is a good length on the pitch - so you get more steepling bounce, without necessarily negating all the seam/swing.

Boult in for a chance at our cheapest ever 5 for?
My crap skills using stat guru shows it to currently to be 5/26 by Bruce Taylor.Edit: no wait there’s a 6/26 by Chris Martin and a 7/27 by Chris Cairns.
Hadlee had 7 for 23 at one stage.

We basically need 10 guys to get 13 apiece - so the Tom-Tom's are both in credit now and working for other guys!
Long may it continue, because it looks like a pitch where we could lose three or four quickly...
Ha ha!! That's exactly what I was thinking when we came out to bat.

That’s the way, pick on a guy who’s picked to bowl, not bat...
Yawn.
