@nzzp You have clearly blocked out the tour of Australia.
What tour of Australia?

Great to see Jamieson continuing to take wickets, he's such an exciting prospect.
We still have a LOT of work to do to take ascendancy in this one. India won't be completely disappointed with 242 - Kohli said after the first match that if they'd managed to get through to 230 things would have been different, and I agree with him.
We are going to want a lead of at least 100, meaning we still need to score another 300 odd.
A lot of their batsmen haven't shown the necessary application on this tour. They are dangerous and can score big at any time. I think if we should be able to bowl them out for under 300 again in the second innings though.

I'm not sure Jamieson is so slow - he hits mid 130s which is respectable. Certainly quicker than Southee. His main asset ( other than his height) is that he seems to control his length well. If he could become a good enough bat to be number 7 then he could play in a 4 man pave attack with a spinner.
If he could bat 7 while bowling at mid-130s and taking wickets at his current rate ,we'd be talking Hadlee-level.

Kane gone and I have India just head of the game now.
I'm not so sure. India have only the 3 fast bowlers and Jadeja. I reckon things will get easier for us when the bowlers tire. We also bat fairly deep.

Entertaining couple of minutes.
Wags hitting out
Wags getting out to spectacular catch
Jamieson hitting out
Boulty trying to run himself out
Kylo smacked in the head -
Jamieson misses out on 50, but otherwise a great hand.
India leads by 7 runs and it's become a one innings shoot-out.
Jameson has taken to test cricket like a duck to water.
At the three-quarter mark in the series, he's topping the batting averages @46.5 and fractionally behind Jadeja and Timmy in the bowling averages @14.33 - with 9 wickets.
Right now, he's the man-of-the-series - though that could be taken away by several others.

Jamieson has done an amazing job of hauling us back into the game. India still ahead of the game given they get to set us a tricky target to chase, but we've given ourselves a chance.
We've knocked them over cheaply three times in a row. Hopefully there's some mental hurdles for their batsmen to overcome now.
