Anyway, my luck turned. The shortest quinella of my life with Alligator Blood and catalyst
Then Flit. Then Bonvicini. Then Sweet Deal. All at odds.

That’s one of the greatest races I have ever seen.
The will to win by AB was incredible. How he just kept his head out. Amazing.
Wicked how good horses hate coming second.

They also can sulk when they don’t win. It really is quite petulant at times.

I think out to 1600m and equal weights then catalyst might be able to beat AB. I think they may apply blinkers again too as has given good results for catalyst in the past.
That chenier flew home and was first up over 1400m. Should go even better come the Guineas but will be up in weight and really benefitted from the run behind those two duking it out

Multi! Paying 250! Carn the Gosford
Hmmm dunno how got 250! All were a bit short for that. Place multi prob about $2.50 haha. They ran 3rd, 2nd and 1st. Last one was $3.50 when posted.
Had a pretty good day punting wise on sat but missed on a couple of multis due to libertini. Gave a fair bit of it back yesterday.
Didnt watch much of sats racing as was out all day but have replayed the CS Hayes stakes race about 10 times!

Interesting comment by the trainer - but starting wider on the barrier, carrying more weight and covering more distance - and probably not preferred track conditions.
Have to be a decent shot with a better hand.
