I wonder how fast Jamieson is? He doesn't look rapid but faster than Tim. His height is an advantage and he's throwing it into the pitch
He's slower than Southee.
Thanks. His height seems to be the x factor. That and the fact they haven't seen him before
And the fact he is bowling consistent line and length. He looks a good find to me already. Another 5km of pace would be a bonus, but not essential.
Yep, McGrath was only low to mid 130s but hit a great length and his extra height caused some variable bounce. Jamieson has loads of potential.
I was trying to avoid mentioning McGrath, given that it's Jamieson's first game ...
But yeah, that's who he reminds me of.

OK so we've put the boot into Southee and he went straight through Kohli.
We've had a good go at CdG the flat track bully and he's grabbed a wicket in his first over.
Good work team don't let up.

Which means he will either crash and burn or suffer years of injury and play 15 games over 10 years..

Neesham's bowling has been letting the team down for ages. He's a batsmen who can barely bowl these days.

That's amazing because I would have said he was faster. But his most memorable characteristic was his ridiculously consistent line and length

Interesting bowling choices coming up. Do they bring back Bennett and Southee so they don't have a chunk of overs at the end and risk getting these batsmen set, or continue the chokehold bowling of Neesham and CdG?
I reckon we need to go for the jugular. If these guys stay and get in we are poked anyway. Comms reckon Timmy is crook and will bowl out as much as possible

I think they should bring Southee back..
He's already here.....
Took too long to post it, with auto correct and all that...

A problem coming up is that we still have 9 overs from Neesham to get through at the 25th over. Practically speaking this means that we need to find some overs from someone else - probably Chapman. Bennett still has 7 to go as well. I don't fancy him bowling the death overs.
