@canefan flat track bully. FFS.
For all the joking about his bowling, CdG is utter village with the bat these days. A hapless slogger this summer
We're folding badly, India in the box seat big time.
Batting like they have a dinner reservation to make it to tonight.
We've thrown this one away....again!
Lost 6 for 45
Oh dear.
This rot started with Guppy running himself out.
"Hey guys no more sharp singles okay?" Clearly we don't appear to have had that talk at training yet
This is very frustrating.
Bring back Hesson
Did Gary Stead return early from his break?
Determined to run themselves out tonight...
242/8 with a few overs to go. After that start, extremely disappointing. No way is our bowling lineup going to be able to defend that.
The new guy showing the rest how to bat..
@Virgil Latham, Neesham, CdG, Chapman and Southee together contributed 19 runs. Jamieson 17 by himself so far.
Well. Thanks to Taylor and Jamieson, we have 273/8 on the board.
We're 40 short of what we should have got, but at least our bowlers have something to bowl at. 5.5 an over does take a batsman or 2 to get a decent score.
I haven't seen Jamieson bowl. He looks tall. Is he fast and mean as well? He can hold a bat.
@Mokey said in Indian Cricket Tour of NZ 2020:
Should have been so much more but for some irresponsible batting from a few guys who should know better
Pitch is a road. Lucky we have Wags who bowls great in bowler unfriendly conditions oh wait.....
@canefan Yep. Number 10 Jamieson contributed more by himself than five players above him in the order.
If Bennett and Southee bowl like they did in the first game though, this is going to be a cakewalk for the Indians.
CdG batting v India: 0, 3, 5, 1, 5.
