Against all the odds, I'm excited again. Taking my lad tonight, will be a good night out no matter what.
From last year - we haven't beaten the Chiefs since 20 farking 11. It's about time

@nzzp Why are you posting from 2018? Have you had a stroke?
The Blues won their last game against the Chiefs.
aw did we? I genuinely didn't remember that, just had memories of being carved up by DMac at Eden Park last year.
Edit: Goddaamn! 18 May we won against them after losing 33-29 earlier in the season. THE STREAK IS OVER

interesting move putting Robinson at lock, I know he started out there, but I think he is suited to a wider game that the blues used him for last year, he can play tight, but whether he will be as effective is another matter.
Akira not in the 23 is huge though, but maybe he just hasnt been ticking the boxes?
I think Papali'i fits the wide role better than Robinson.
Not sure if Robinson has packed on any weight, but in some photos he looks like he's bigger. He might be more equipped to handle lock duties this season.

@taniwharugby He's good in the tight or out wide.
Even if Papali'i is playing a wider role on attack, he still gets a good amount of work done in the tight.

We own the Chiefs. #1GameWinningStreak
In the preseason, definitely.
I am surprised at the TAB odds as I think this is a 50/50 game. More pressure on the Blues being a home game.
Pressure? Not making the playoffs for damn near a decade, consistnetly underperforming, breaking my will to live year after year ... that's pressure. Home game is easy by comparison; it's away we struggled for so long
