All to play for thanks to the sporting declaration from Paine.

I'm picking big hundreds to a couple of our top order and we do it in a canter.

without your boundless, labrador-like enthusiam, this thread would be sooo bleak

oh and fuck up Warner you fluffybunny.

Blundell attempts to run himself out in the first over. Head misses the chance by quite a margin.

Evidence of how scrambled the minds are?

Look! I'm not greedy, I'll be happy with 4 small hundreds

Blundell hits one to Lyon - low and to his right - and off he goes for 2.

FFS Erasmus - Tom Latham gets the same lbw decision that Kane got last game.

Didn't he get all his fucking shopping done on his last day off.

He's unlucky, given it looked like it was going down leg. And the tracker had it just clipping.

But as someone said to me once, nobody feels sorry for you if you get bowled and the ball 'just clips' the stumps.

@barbarian Erasmus hasn't had a very even-handed series. And Australia haven't really needed his help.

while i have a certain level of understanding of that take, i think there is a slight difference, and that is what causes the angst

If you get bowled, you're out. Shit shot, piss off, you're out

With the "just clipping" and umpires call bullshit, you get a situation where your outcome is now dependent on who reviews. If that's given not out, and the Aussies review, it stays not out. Same delivery, two different outcomes. It should be either out, or not out

(i have said in the past, i think DRS for LBW should be gone unless it's to see if you hit it)

@mariner4life In both Kane's and Tom's incidents, we've lost our wicket but retained our review. 🙂

and while i am typing, another goes.

This is a fucking embarrassment. Australia got over 200 for only 1 when they were batting properly, on the same goddam deck.

    I'll say it again.

When do some questions start getting asked about Peter Fulton as a batting coach?

this "performance" should see a review of the entire coaching panel.

    It seems bizarre.

Small wins, that are however burned by Jeet and Philips - neither of whom apparently could tell they'd nicked out.

On the plus side - unless Fults is an active saboteur, Craig McMillan's market value must be absolutely soaring! 🙂
