Geezzz, the Australia A v Tonga game has been cancelled because one of the Tongan players showed symptoms of measles on Sunday. All Tongan players are now being tested and that takes 72 hours; too long to let the game go ahead. It's been called a draw and both teams get 2 points each.

The Samoa v PNG game will now be played at 1.30pm.

    Half time: New Zealand A 36 - 0 Fiji

1st try: Nathalia Moors; 2nd: Joanah Ngan-Woo; 3rd and 4th: Leilani Perese; 5th: Grace Brooker; 6th: Martha Lolohea.

The test against Australia A on Thursday should be more interesting; the difference with Fiji is too big and I suspect the game against PNG will end in a blood bath. Samoa beat PNG 65 - 12 earlier today.

Maybe NZR should send a Black Ferns U20 team, next year.

    Full time: New Zealand A 53 - 0 Fiji

Second half tries to: Nathalia Moors, Hazel Tupic and Lauren Balsillie.

Good first outing for this Black Ferns Development team, with 15 players wearing the black jersey for the first time. Obviously, this was a weak opponent, but it's great that they get the opportunity to play at this tournament. I'm looking forward to the game against Australia A.

The Tonga Women’s rugby team has been withdrawn from the 2019 Oceania Rugby Women’s Championships following a decision made by the Fiji Ministry of Health with consultation from the World Health Organisation (WHO) in Nadi, today.

After evaluating test results of the suspected measles case earlier this week, the collective decision made by the health authorities was to quarantine the Tonga team for a total period of 18 days (Sunday 17th November to Wednesday 4th of December).

As a result of Tonga’s withdrawal from the remaining rounds, an amended draw for the 2nd to the 4th round has been circulated to all teams.

In light of the tournament being a qualifying tournament for the 2021 Rugby World Cup, an announcement will be made by World Rugby in due course regarding Tonga’s withdrawal.

Try to Olivia McGoverne. Full credit to Pia Tapsell though, who did some great work at the back of the scrum.

The conversion is good, too. 19 - 0 BFs

Now a compulsory water break because of the high temperatures in Fiji.

That's the half time score. The Kiwi women are dominating all stats: possession, territory, line-out, scrum, you name it.

It may only be a development game, but there's some real talent in that Black Ferns Dev squad. Depth for the next few years looks very good!

A good effort from the forwards in the 1st half but Moors needs to stop kicking the ball ahead on the wing and keep possession.

@Bovidae Agreed! I like how particularly the scrum is going very well. Somehow that seems to be a weak point for NZ rep teams in recent years.

Try to Langi Veainu (IIRC, she is the sister of Telusa Veainu) after a great offload from the no. 6.

    31 - 0 BFs after 44 minutes

It's going fast now. Try to second five-eighth Kilisitina Moata'ane; converted by Rasch.

    50 - 0 BFs.

    Another water break.

Uhm, this commentator doesn't know anything about women's rugby. Saying that England are the wolrd champions and that NZ has to work hard to catch up with them and France.

    Full time: New Zealand A 50 - 0 Australia A

Convincing performance from the Black Ferns Dev team, who finished the game with 14 players due to a yellow card to Amanda Rasch in the 81st minute.

Best forward IMO was no. 6 Ilisapeta Molia on debut (a sister/cousin of Sione Molia).
    Best back, Grace Brooker.
