I saw Alan Bond on TV absolutely giving it to ABC. Was good to watch.
Polly at $4:20 is pretty good value I reckon. She should be there or thereabouts as we can't fault her lead in.
The rain can stop now though please.

The Bostonian running in the Manikato tonight, haven't heard anything which isnt usually a good sign, but I will still be on it and running an all up into Polly tomorrow for some fun.

The Geelong Cup wasn't good for me, so lets drop some money on the Manikato. You would expect Bivouac to shit it in and live up to its price surely?
A mate of mine owns #6 in R1 at the Valley tonight and reckons it is a huge shout. Odds aren't big, but not bad.

agree with Bivouac, even heard McEvoy thinking it should kill it.. like i said, normally I hear something by now, so not hearing anything, suggests not as confident

That's what you want with your 1.80 favourite, trapped on the rails 3 back. Never had a hope.
I came last.

Polly down to $3.70 and fave now.
Ricky still on some juicy odds, even to place.

Heard Kylie on radio this morning and sounded like had travelled down ok
Bit of mail in first starter at kembla today race 7/11. Won a trial and a nice second behind loving gaby which reads well.
Also very keen to see how safado goes today for first run under Chris Waller. Race 8 Randwick. Great first up record.

The Valley was only saved by Sportsbet money back.
Today looks no easier

I just printed off the past performance sheet for the Cox. I was hearing for the past couple weeks that Lys Gracieux was the best Japanese import to ever hit the Spring Carnival, three lengths better than Mer de Grace, nigh on unbeatable etc., which may yet be true. But Mer de Grace travelled to Melbourne with 5 or 6 straight wins under her belt. Lys Gracieux has three wins in her past ten starts. Lots of prestige graded stakes in there certainly, and plenty of placings in those, but hardly unbeatable. Magic Wand hasn’t won in a year (!!!), but placings in huge races across the world, including several close runner-up placings to American champion Bricks and Mortar, and 2-time Arc champ Enable; must be one of the most travelled horses on the planet and gets a claim on the purse almost everywhere she goes. Draws barrier 3 and opens at 13/1 - watch the board. Looks like a great betting race. I’ll spend the next hour handicapping and place a couple wagers closer to race time.

@Hooroo is a bundle of nerves but his nervousness is resulting in a lot of beers on the table, so that's a positive outcome.
