Does @Stargazer run the Magpies_Unoff twitter account? The content looks similar

Ainley and Geldenhuys in the tight five for BoP and May for Hawkes.
Great to see the Mako doing their bit to bolster the minor provinces!
Please.. your jealousy knows no bounds, at least we still exist ...Mr Nelson (formerly and wish I still was a Bay)

The way things are going, if we were still Nelson Bays - Plenty and Hawkes would have been subsumed by us!

Well Poverty would have been anyway.

Can the South Central Vikings / Crusaders Light's solitary fan please stick to his own thread? He's got a giant choke job to oversee.

I went to Nelson once, in 2001, it's like a budget Napier, but I presume I'm considered from Ta$man due to that visit.

If those Wellington fluffybunnies don't hurry up and name their team, we'll have walked off with the trophy while their selection panel is still shitting themselves in the toilets!

Another reason why we need a visa system!

Unless you have NZ-AUS type free movement agreement with your Crusaders big brothers, Canterbury, you'll be back in the 3rd division within three years.

go the way of the Austro-Hungarian Empire

@Chris-B Excuse me but the Bays component of Nelson Bays comes from the Golden Bay Motueka part of the combined former Nelson and Golden Bay Motueka RFUs. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the Nelson section of the name and is thus disqualified from even being considered as a possible challenger for the The Bay title had they not then subsequently combined with the Marlborough RFU to become Ta$man becoming even further removed!
-
@Chris-B said in Mickey Mouse Final: The Bay vs Hawkes:
@Higgins If we want that Bay title, we'll just send a Takaka-Collingwood combined team to take it!
This is just like the Austro-Hungarians!
We'll just give those pesky Serbs a quick slap and we'll be grand...

Ahh Takaka, they could hold trhe aftermatch function in the Rat Trap! Is it still going by the way?
-
@Chris-B said in Mickey Mouse Final: The Bay vs Hawkes:
@Higgins Unfortunately not.
The publican's wife burned it to the ground about 30 years ago. I think due to his extra-marital meanderings.
I can recall some of the same in the very near vicinity of the Rat Trap coming back from a Blues v Takaka club game about 1988. Although in this particular instance neither the publican nor his missus was involved. Come to think of it the Blues Senior Reserve team had a win on the field that day too!
