Gin soaked twats in Dublin?

Hasn't there already been a Test played in a winter typhoon at Athletic Park in 1961 thus a precedent and marker in the ground has already been set!
different times, tougher blokes.
less lawyers

Amazing isn't it. Can't play 80 minutes of rugby anywhere because of money.
Nevermind the integrity of the sport or tournament, a rugby game cannot be played without guaranteed sponsors and spectators. Even though 99% of rugby is played that way all over the world.
RWC for the sport or the profit?

This really is a bit daft at the moment.
I used to laugh when we had a Typhoon in HKG. The buses, trains and taxis would stop because of the danger (some taxis would be there at huge cost) but I was still expected to show up to work and go flying - (with no passengers as they couldn't get to the airport either) or were too terrified to fly in 200kph+ winds which was eminently sensible, I didn't want to either.
They should wait and see if it really is going to hit. Refund fans with tickets if it does, and have an alternative venue organised for a worst case empty stadium scenario. Still be millions watching on TB.

This really is shithouse ,
With all the negativity surrounding the officiating/ cards etc ,
It didn’t need this on top,
Gee you got to feel for Scotland, particularly with what happened at the last WC

Sat night is looking like a good night in front of the tv,
Nz v Italy,
Eng v France ,
Ireland v SamoaThat’s probably as good as you could hope for in pool play
jinxed it.

Surely $'s should win out here and surely most of that is TV revenue.
Just move the team, their management and film crew to a new stadium. Surely there must be some available, don't even worry about the fans, that ship has sailed. If I had flown over to Japan for a match the one thing that could cheer me up slightly would be still being able to watch that match at the local irish pub knowing that my ticket refund would at least cover the beers for the night.

Anyone got a live feed of the media conference?
