Maybe Aus v Fiji sneaking in instead of Fra v Arg
-
hard to disagree. Though i thought last night's game was the best of the tournament so far.

Almost halfway into pool play (17 games down, 23 to go) and even with some baffling reffing performances which has been disappointing, the tournament play overall has been very enjoyable.
So what have been your top 5 games/moments so far?
1 - Japan beating Ireland with a defensive performance for the ages.
2 - Uruguay’s win and the captains post game interview
3 - ABs 6-7 minutes of scintillating rugby that had the Boks at our mercy
4 - Wales and Aussies smashing each other in a squeaky bum affair
5 - France holding on against a fast finishing Argies
Tha's pretty good list. I was umming/aahing about the Fra v Arg, but that drop goal to win it with the firs touch of the ball was pretty cool, retrospectively!

@MiketheSnow totally agree Fiji played out of there skin for 60 mins

Whilst some have predicted a big England win, I have a sneaky feeling that the Argies could pull out one of those performances we’ve seen on rare occasions from them and it could be a classic.
Japan and Samoa has intrigue written all over it albeit some scratchy form to date from Samoa.
As for my original list of 5, the three Barretts starting and all three scoring is pretty cool no matter the circumstances and might have find a place. The cool thing about it was that it wasn’t done in one of those “it’s my turn to score” games either - all three played well and in the structures of the team.

France v USA for around 60 mins was rivetting

@cgrant The most fun I've had watching the RWC so far was the first 30 minutes of Aus v Fiji until Yato got injured.
We've had a distinct lack of those types of games where Tier 1 nations are taken beyond halftime by tier two nations and your can't change the channel because they just might be able to pull it out.
Fiji vs Uruguay and Japan vs Russia had a bit of that... but the stakes aren't as high when they aren't tier one nations and you know the media is just waiting to freak out... whereas we have been pretty blessed in the past two RWCs with quite a few close shaves - particularly in 2011 even though many upsets didn't happen.

Fiji v Wales straight in

Fiji v Wales straight in
Excellent game with plenty of back and forth.

Watching Semi Radradra play, worth any money for the ticket.
Actually, another Fijian in Kerevi is probably 2nd behind him in the "watchability" stakes.
