Cowboys play a decent team and all of a sudden don't look so good. Nice win Saints without Brees.

    Architects of their own demise.

Shit tackling and too many unforced errors.

Burfict suspended for the rest of the season for this pretty bad helmet hit.

Looks worse when you see it in full speed. I was surprised that Doyle got up right away after it.

Tough loss for the Broncos. They just got done right at the end. That's their 8th loss in a row.

Bears beat the Vikings and fans are really mad at Cousins. He's only thrown 3 TDs this season with some of the best weapons in the league.

He always flattered to deceive. No one should be surprised

Generally has decent stats, but not a big game player.

5-27 against teams with winning records.

    5-13 in prime time games.

Best description I've ever heard of Cousins is that he can take what the opposition defence gives him. So as long as his playmakers can get open or there's a error by the defence (or they're happy to give up short yardage gains) he can take advantage of it. But when the defence is dominant, or his playmakers are struggling he can't add anything. So if you had a team with a great defence or a stacked o-line and RB or even an elite group of receivers Cousins will be okay, but he's never going to be a difference maker.

Also known as a 'trap quarterback'. Good enough to get a big contract and keep getting starts. Not good enough to carry the team. See also Dalton, Andy.

DOn't know if you coined that phrase, but that's a bloody good description. Top effort

I wish! I first heard it listening to the Locked On Jets podcast in the Cousins free agency off season.

Awesome game between the Seahawks and Rams. One of the best games of the season.

Russell Wilson is the man. Having an MVP kind of season so far.

The intercept on Goff near the end of the game was something else. Reminded me of that fingertip intercept by Polamalu.

Yeah it was a ripper game!

That intercept was amazing considering how his body was moving

that throw into the endzone and catch was insane. Then the intercept @mariner4life referenced was awesome- body gymnastics to pull it in. Looked dead set incomplete, until the replay.

Jay Gruden becomes the first coach to be fired. It's been a long time coming. Redskins need more changes though. They need a new General Manager badly. They need a whole reset.

A few more upsets this week. Raiders over Bears, Broncos over Chargers and Colts over Chiefs.

3 weeks in. What are we seeing?

All roads lead through New England. Still. Not only are they good, they have the two worst teams in football in their division. Again (yep, the Jets lost all their good players already, and their O-Line stinks).

The Chiefs look likely to be back in the AFC champ game against them

Fuck knows who to trust in the NFC. It's a close division, but nearly every team has a flaw, or lost their superstar QB. Packers on the back of their D and Rodgers?

Denver fucking suck, and if Elway wasn't king of the city he would get fired for his decision making the last couple of years. We are not a win now team. We are not a win next year team either. Flacco is exactly what everyone thought. We can't score points. And teams have worked out everything revolves around stopping Miller and Chubb. And lo, guess how many sacks and forced fumbles they have combined through 3 games? 0 on each count. We're fucked, and lucky the Jets and the Dolphins exist. Our schedule is pretty tough too, so expect very few wins.

    Dallas going along nicely

plenty of time for that to implode yet.

    You've jinxed us 😞

Dominant win by the 49ers. 31-3.

49ers lost another starter to injury it seems (Kyle Juszczyk the fullback) and the Special Teams was ropey but rookie Nick Bosa announced himself to the League and the 49ers run game was awesome.

Took time out from work to watch the 49ers go 4-0 at my local pub.

Our running game is pretty much up there with the best as the Breida/Coleman combo provides them with speed and strength in both the running and passing game.

Browns QB Baker Mayfield must have rooted 49ers DE Nick Bosa's mother or something because Nick was hunting him all game. Mayfield finished with 100 yards passing, two INTs and a few fumbles thanks to the 49ers defence.

Only Patriots and 49ers are undefeated. Superbowl right there.

Cleveland were fucking awful. O-line was the equivalent of a wet paper bag.

49ers looking pretty good in a wide open NFC.

That would be a great Superbowl matchup. The stories leading up to it would be great too, with the QBs and the coaches.

But don't get excited just yet.
    9ers opponents have a record of 5 and 15.
Patriots opponents have a record of 5 and 18.

9ers still have 4 games against the Rams and Seahawks. They also gotta play the Packers and the Saints (imo, NFC favourites who should have Brees back). All should be cracking games.
9ers are unlucky they are in a loaded division/conference. Good luck picking the playoff teams from the NFC.
