RWC: Scotland v Samoa (Pool A)
-
Looks a bit like a knock-out game. Teams focused on defence rather than risking too much on attack.
But if it breaks up into looser play, then Samoa could benefit. Scots will be happy to keep it tight.
-
Better play from Samoa taking the ball up more direct. But as soon as they swing it wide they forget the basics of cleaning out.
-
geez. could someone get that bar of soap off the field and replace it with a rugby ball?!

Mutual upvote @Billy-Webb

You would think they've never been sweaty before
-
Scotland really are average.
Should be out of sight by now.

That backline play by the Jocks looked like gridiron
Springbok-esque
-
Scotland might wanna keep mauling it up. Samoa have no answer to it so far.
-
Scotland should employ more of the rolling maul.
Everytime they get the ball to 10, he juggles or drops it anyway. -

Great kick. Maitland in.

Samoa are very ordinary. If Scotland don't pump them, it's a damning indictment

Big risk but excellent execution in these conditions
