<p>god I have no idea where I'm going to watch it. Some stupid twat (me) decided to book in their 40th for Sat night.</p>

<p>Basically have no choice but to try and push on through. Which won't be easy. But fcuk it it's the RWC FINAL. surely I can stave off being an old ba$tard who can't stay awake past 1pm for one friggin night.</p>

<p>I have purchased a couple of trays of redbull.. think I'll buy some boxes of no doze!</p>

<p>As someone who runs these races (at a very very slow jog SammyC), if I'd trained for months I would still give this one a miss. I enter the Melbourne Marathon every year but this year it would have required missing the quarter-final. No chance.</p>

<p>I'm sure the feminist professor with absolutely no knowledge on how to perform scientific sampling and basic statistical analysis could survey some runners to find people who don't care about rugby though.</p> -

<p>The mother in law is in the local running club, they weren't very impressed with the timing but apparently the event calendar is set some time ago and is difficult to change. I would expect that entries will be down big time this year. Serves them right, fluffybunnys</p> -

<p>yeh well it happened like this. Venue booking available.. 31 Oct.. or some random date in Nov.</p>

<p>then kinda went fark well if I don't book the venue for 31st then I'll be jinxing us making final.</p>

<p>Won't be changing my current Sunday routine which is a 4 hour bike and a 2-3 hour run.. Quite enjoy these earlier starts as I can wake up, have a nice croissant, fresh juice and coffee while watching the game, then get into my training.</p>

<p>As this is the closest I get to being religious I can't see past the prospect of savouring every minute at home with me 2 hounds and screaming at the tele. 11pm Ko here</p>

<p>I got up and watched the SF on my own last Sunday morning. This weekend I will invite myself around to a mate's house to watch the final with them. We went to the 2011 SF together so I'm hoping for the same result. :)</p>

<p>BTW, I heard that they are trying to broadcast the final on a big screen in the Auckland CBD. I understand that NZR and I assume Sky TV will have to give the OK.</p> -
