Anyone told nick the Aussie about Travis Head's replacement in the 11?....😏
He's still passed out on the floor
There are no words

@Duluth believe that was the best opening partnership for either side this series?
Wow.. that's terrible
As bad as some of the batting has been, Broad has had a great series. I thought he bowled an incredible spell for no reward when Smith was getting his double

If the answer was Mitchell Marsh, I wonder what the question was.
In my best Oprah voice, “Everyone gets an Ashes”

Look in fairness, a couple of those wickets were good bowling but a couple of them were utter pies that an idiot decided to have a hoist at.
He was bowling well. Good pace and for some reason he was getting considerably more swing than any of the others

Siddle isn't much of a swing bowler and the other two have been mainly seam. I saw a couple of highlight balls from Hazlewood where it moves a bit.
Marsh just had it going I guess - sometimes happens with those guys in the 130s that they can swing it better than faster bowlers

I saw the whole day (had it on my second screen at work). Other bowlers got some swing but nothing like Marsh.
Around tea they had a stat showing how much each bowler was swinging it. Marsh was 3x the next best bowler
He bowled well. Who knows if he can back it up or if he can get runs.. but he deserves credit for yesterday

His quote in the presser - which showed a remarkable amount of self-awareness - was something like:
"I think every cricket fan in Australia hates me (laughs) but they're passionate, and I haven't been able to nail down a spot with consistent performances"
So I'll give him credit for that as well.

He's trying to let his cricket do the talking. Smart

Good batting by Denly, Stokes and Buttler. Decent track and weather. Some sloppy fielding from the team that already has the tiny trophy safely tucked away and some niggly banter suggesting that the Aussies have one foot on the plane after 9 seemingly continuous months of top flight cricket.
Nice to have someone worse at drs reviews than ou Kane. Despite all the great work Paine has done, his best keeping days are in the past. He still has a wonderful technique but his accuracy from his prime is missing. But, he's an Ashes retaining captain, so well done him.
Ordinarily it's shut the gate on anything but a pom win, 380 odd lead, but that all goes out the window with that bloody Steven Smith...
