Fucking Johnson rushed up out of the line, took no one leaving a gaping hole for hem to run through.

@kev yea, really struggling to see his up side...

    How far away is Tua?

    Fuck sakes we’re unravelling.

Unforced error turned into an easy 7 points now.

We are lacking punch in backline. JB is running and looking for runners.

Need to get ball and hold for some phases.

we need to mark that blind better, we had 3 forwards there marking 3 backs, with Ross marking Waisake

man they are so off-side, putting more pressure on our backs who look like they just met on the bus down

    @taniwharugby said in v Taranaki:

man they are so off-side, putting more pressure on our backs who look like they just met on the bus down

    And speak different languages.

We are much better physically. But really slow off the ground, getting back to our feet.

    Backline set moves a mess.

Think our backs need to stick to the basics, a few phases just through the hands rather than rtying inside balls and cut backs, we are making ourselves look silly.

Forwards are fronting up, throwing good numbers to the breakdowns and we are defending well.

Hohaia is getting up really quick on defence, not sure that one with Johnson was all his fault either, if Hohaia had pushed with him there wouldnt have been a hole

BOth thier tries from our errors, although you could feel it was coming.

INto the wind, which doesnt look huge, or possibly across a bit as well, means we will need to keep it in hand.

15 minutes of good, 25 minutes of fucking average. Just another day out for the Northland rugby team.

That coupled with more injuries makes it same old same old. Fun times.

This ref is doing a good job. A level above the guy we had for Auckland.

The key now is can we stay in the game. Lacking a bit of class but competing.

@kev yeah ref going well, not missing too much and is pretty consistent...although he and the TMO saw the knock in thier disallowed try, not sure how they all missed him playing it with his feet.
