I have a sneaky feeling here ... that England will still get a first innings lead.
How do you think the English Rugby team will go in Japan - champions?

Funnily enough .... yes.

Two ordinary batting lineups against a couple of good attacks. With predictable results.

being dismissed for less than 100 three times in the last ten would be a big concern for the batting coach.
Wow, that is really shocking.
Root has carried them for a while and the cracks (that are most of the rest of the team) are showing.

Good article apart from this:
"we’re world champions". -

"we’re world champions".Any article where he manages to get out of it without calling someone a racist is a good effort for him.

I was hoping that the bowling attack would explain the exclusion of Starc, and they very happily did.
It feels very unusual/almost unclean being unequivocally in support of the canary yellow’s for one series, but that bowling performance definitely helps...

If looking for great English spinners, Jim Laker comes to mind:
193 wickets in 46 matches, average 21.24, economy 2.04. Has the record for the best bowling in a test of 19/90 (not a typo), and most wickets in a 5 match Ashes series of 46.
He's been dead for 33 years, otherwise he might have been a good call for the squad for Tests 4 and 5.
