@Daffy-Jaffy North Harbour released its 2019 squad on 25 July: https://www.facebook.com/harbourrugby/photos/a.113958202030888/2334510179975668/?type=3&theater

    Their website isn't up-to-date though.

Matchday 23s have to be publicly announced 24 hours before kick-off, so there's still plenty of time. Opposition teams have to be notified of the squad lists sooner, I think, but this doesn't have to be public.

Edited to add a link to the Harbour squad on NZR's website: https://www.allblacks.com/News/34440/dawning-of-a-new-era-for-north-harbour

@Stargazer cool thanks, i couldn't even find it googling.
Edit - funny now that I read it I remember commenting something on here about the Inisi brothers when it was named. Good old Alzheimer's is kicking in already!

Does anyone know many provincial centurions will be playing in the M10 Cup this season?

The reason I ask is that I note Dwayne Sweeney has played 93 games for Waikato so will bring up the milestone this season. Without doing a comprehensive search Ash Dixon and Alex Ainley will also be near or have already done so (based on the often inaccurate Wiki data).

Players with 100 games for their province used to be common before the lucrative overseas contracts and the fact that current ABs don't play for their province anymore.

@Duluth I knew there would be others but I hadn't looked at every squad. Respect for those that play 100 provincial games.

I think Ranger will fall short this season due to his injury, pretty sure he is in the 90s

Loving the NPC so far. Call me parochial, but I have little interest in watching non-NZ domestic teams.

Northland's injury list is starting to grow after three players, all loose-forwards, picked up injuries against Southland on Thursday night.

Aorangi Stokes, Sam McNamara and Kane Jacobson all left Rugby Park Stadium prematurely in the Taniwha's 27-17 win over their southern foes two nights ago. Stokes, who started at number eight, was taken off for a head injury assessment in the second half, which he failed.

Blindside flanker McNamara came off with a shoulder injury in the first half and was replaced by Jacobson. The reserve almost made it through to 80 minutes until an injury saw him supported from the field by medical staff.

All three are considered in doubt for Thursday's vital clash against Auckland in Northland's first home game of 2019 until more information on the injuries is made available today.

Those players could add to the list of five already injured Northlanders, midfielder Tamati Tua, flanker Tom Robinson, first five Dan Hawkins, halfback Harrison Levien and outside back Rene Ranger.

Both Robinson (meniscus tear) and Tua (suspected high ankle sprain) were expected to be out for a couple of weeks, while Hawkins could possibly be available for selection against Auckland.

Levien, who has had concussion issues, was being considered week by week for his selection. Ranger (ruptured ACL) would be unlikely to feature for Northland this season.

Fano Fanaki who can play blindside flanker and lock from the Waipu squad and Jared Byrnes who can play 7 or 6 from the OBM club have been added to the squad..

    @Tim

I get similar vibes with NZ fans as I do with Welsh & Irish rugby fans

Very parochial in their mindset Similarities in being Islands - Ireland/NZ

Still Super Rugby pays the bill & and a much higher standard of rugby than Mitre 10

Moreover if you're a journeyman player not sniffing an ABs place making easy money playing mickey mouse rugby is alot

more appealing than playing winter games in shithole stadiums or travelling to the deep south for games
