Nah, I just put my name down with Waikato/Counties but have no idea whether or not that will be a team this season.

There is a Facebook group for tipping where notifications are posted - ask for membership

We're on the lookout for tippers again this season.
Last season's team was myself plus @trooa @Donsteppa @sportboy @bayimports - we can have up to 6 players. I have seen that trooa is back, anyone else interested in signing up?

Can you post a linmk to show those who have tipped sometime earlish tomorrow afternoon so we can have time to chase up the regulars that have not fronted up yet so they don't miss out on what looks to be rather easy points available in the first match of the season. But then again you just never know (remembering the time almost winless Manawatu tipped unbeaten Canterbury over late in the round robin a couple of years ago!!!!).............

@Stargazer Don't forget to get your tips in. Think we will relax the HB 17+ call again this season (although it is very tempting this round to stick one up the 'Poo!) Still hoping the lioeks of The Observer, Number 10 or any of the others will front to make sure we have the full compliment. Ran into Propsicle at the new Samoan Cafe (first Samoan fedd I have had in ages - absolutely superb - just a shame it was not warm Samoan weather!!!) in Wellington today and he is an almost definite starter! Still need at least one (or possibly two) to make sure we do not play one short each week. Come on you fellow Magpies time to don the black and white hooped jersey to take on all copmers for what was once our title almost as of right!!

And just in the nick of time, the famous five are back in the saddle for another crack at glory. We were 7th of 8 on the ladder last season and lost the Plate final to Harbour-Auckland for a final placing of 6th so we're sure to go under the radar.
