The latest injury will unfortunately keep Seu out of Waikato’s campaign for the year – which is a major disappointment, given it will be his first season with the province.Bugger, but I was expecting the worst. I hope McWhannell is fit to start.

It looks like Junior Laloifi didn't make the cut. One of the few standouts for the Turbos last year. If he's not injured, another province who needs a winger/fullback should pick him up.

Yes, he signed with Zebre, but according to the media release of his signing as well as of the opening of the 2019/2020 Pro14 season, he's still under contract with Manawatu and will only arrive in Italy after the Mitre 10 Cup.
It's a bit strange; he was still playing club rugby finals in Manawatu two weeks ago. Maybe he asked for an early release from Manawatu?

Looking at a photo on the Mooloo website it looks like Jahrome Brown is back from his stint with the Brumbies.
If the weather is OK I am tempted to drive down to Otorohanga.
