What was the criteria? Performances for Auckland or overall career?

Rok shouldn't make the team if it was just on Auckland performances. He was an AB before he played NPC and he didn't play that often

@Duluth It just said "all time XV" No criteria specified. I went back and rechecked the lists offered. There were more old time players offered than I thought. Even Dave Gallagher. They just didn't get the votes

One thing I'd like to see this season is Papali'i at 8 and Akira at 6 and seeing what that looks like for a game or two. Highly unlikely it'll happen though.

Thought I read somewhere (Twitter? Red Beard even) it was NPC team. Which would have made in 1976 onwards.

But if Dave Gallaher was a choice perhaps not ...

Also BG Williams was a right winger.

@Tim Yay - Go you good things, all's right with the universe. I was not able make the game today so thanks for the updates. Seemed like a 'game of two halves' with a tense finish. I was worried when I saw the Marist team named but the Ponies forward pack is almost rep quality and they seemed to take charge in the second half (going by the try scorers).

From instagram it looks like Desma Liaina will be in the Auckland squad, and Jordan Trainor looks fit.

@Tim Ruru, Liaina and Danny Tusitala will probably be the 3 halfbacks. Taufa Funaki will probably get a game or 2 after the U19 tournament.

@Nogusta Also Pele cowley and Rilloy Suesue from Ponies were both involved in a preseason game. Danny Tusitala has been playing wing all season at club.

@Daffy-Jaffy Cowley might be at RWC for Samoa. I would go for Suesue for the 3rd halfback spot.
