@Nepia What a great idea Stuffs another one of the Crusaders rivals.
Isn't Stead a cantab? It seems to be your number 1 export, shit coaches going places to be fired.
-
@mariner4life Absolutely World Domination that way the Crusaders keep winning.We keep the good coaches export all our shit ones.

Good a time as any to make a return.
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned during the season but I was told that Cooper was commuting from Taranaki so had never relocated to Hamilton ala Rennie. That isn't exactly conducive to a successful coaching team. When you include the changes in coaching responsibilities, which spectacularly backfired, we had the woeful start to the season.
The good news is there can't be any other Taranaki coaches available. But the bad news is I can't think of anyone who would be qualified to take the role. And as @ploughboy says, Matson can fuck right off!

@WillieTheWaiter testify brother
DMac at 10 was the easy scapegoat, but those early weeks we were appalling across the park. We were completely reliant upon a couple of individuals trying to do individual shit to bail out a team play just so badly. It really did look like they met in the carpark. The forward play in particular was shithouse, no one seemed to know their role.
Nick White was OK as a scrum coach but "promoting" him to forwards coach was a big mistake. I'd like to know who came up with that bright idea.
DMac needs to be persevered with at 1st 5 for 2020. I knew the Chiefs were fucked against the Jags as soon as MMac took the field. He isn't SR quality.

Peter Russell maybe?
He is back in the country coaching The Poo after stints in UK (Falcons getting them back to the top division) and Japan Top League (NEC Green Rockets) after previously been assistant coach at Highlanders

@Stockcar86 Not a bad idea at all.
I must admit that I checked my list of signings to see for how long Jono Gibbes was contracted to La Rochelle, but that's until June 2022.
