Motorcycle GP racing is missing. Rossi is a genius up there with Carter & McCaw
Def a spectator. Used to scrape my knees on the sweeper tarmac at Manfield in my youth. I now scrape my bloody knee just getting on the Honda 250...

@MN5 can you replace one of the options with cycling? Depending on which study you look at, the Tour De France for instance is watched by between 1.4 and 4 billion people. Evidently.
You’d have to ask a Mod. That’s far beyond my meagre technical knowledge. As I said there are a few that I missed but I can't add to the poll now unfortunately.

Horse Racing, Golf, Footy, Rugby and Cricket.
Probably watch Horse racing the most out of any of those. Cricket may take over in summer but I'm not sure on that.
I included this cos I know it's popular. I do love a day at Trentham ( only if there's free piss too ) looking at the nice fillies but couldn't care less about it as a sport.

Trentham is great! Good facilities and generally a good day out. Long trip for us but I do like going there.

One of the guys I was with at the Corporate piss up was taking ages to make a pick based on dry tracks, form, weight of the jockey and fuck knows what else. He asked me to pick so I did and it came second last.
they left me to drink and perve after that.

When I was growing up it was rugby, racing & beer. Track & field was big too. Nowadays I like rugby, horsies, boxing, baseball and ice hockey.

It really is just rugby and league for me now. It used to be lots of other sports, probably even three or four years ago I'd have a sports channel running most of the time. Now it's NZ rugby matches, the odd non NZ match, Warriors matches and occasionally a non Warriors NRL match.

Rugby

Olympics (specifically Athletics & Weightlifting)
Ice Hockey

CricketThere's a large amount of sports I simply get bored by that others love, namely basketball. Two minutes of footage feels like it's on a loop.

must admit I was surfing through the sports channels recently and ended up watching some Darts - riveting.
But would generally go for Rugby, Cricket, Field Hockey, Tennis and Athletics also AFL and Formula 1.
I guess it's the eternal question of whether or not it's a sport or a game.
But yeah, like I said earlier Darts is fucken outstanding viewing. Phil the Power Taylor was basically Bradman but I loved the Wizard too ( aussie bloke who looked like Brett Lee with a goatee )
