the barrier draw hates us. 3rd go, so far we have had 11 of 12, 10 of 12, and now for Saturday, 9 of 9.
Fucking stitch up. I thought the game got less rigged once you were inside it?
Ouch! Sometimes you just get a run of rubbish draws!

Spent a couple of hours doing form this morning and fair to say it looks a farken hard weekends racing.
Have a futures bet for Savitiano in the TattsTiara. Still looks a bloody difficult one to pick but reckon a Cummings horse will do it. Pohutukawa right in it but run it to some bad luck in recent runs.

That's unhelpful mate, what I'm after is the sure things returning double digits.

@antipodean
POLLY GREY!!! -
Might need to multi then mate
Stokes rates his debutant at Morphetville race 3 (That Girl). Maybe multi with Euroman in the hurdles race before. Might get $10 if lucky.
One I do really like is Street Tough race 5 at Flem. Brunton doesnt usually bring them over to the mainland just for a haircut. Its a pretty open race and feautures the return of Laure Me In which is a horse thats hurt me a number of times now

@JK My name will be mud at work or I will be a hero for 24hrs as I have 11 folks from work coming along and they have all been down the TAB and put a bet on her. It's really cool how excited they are about having a horse to support! If she wins, I have a beautiful Reliable Man filly to create a racing syndicate for

Pohutakawa is rocks and diamonds. At that price and at that weight it looks alright. Invincibella there as well.

For the reliable man filly or how much will my name be mud?
The filly will work out to be $250/month per 10% share. Only additional cost will be the percentage share of the Pearl Series payment made when she was a yearling (about $80 per 10% share I think maybe less, I can't remember what the nomination fee is). She is a 2 year old.

Invincibella is my favorite racehorse of all time

owning a racehorse is fucking shit! Whose stupid idea was this??
So far, my ownership has consisted of waiting for her to get fit; drawing the carpark; drawing the carpark; having her scratched (from a race she drew the carpark) because another horse kicked her in the float; now having her injury worse than thought so she is out for a few weeks (with associated vet bills).
When does the fun start?

aaand, I'm not sure i can afford the one i've got, given she won't win any frikken money!!!
That said, the missus did say today "not a great start to horse ownership" meaning she is open to me continuing despite this less than auspicious start.
So yeah, maybe.

While I would love to have you in a horse (and do have mates in Aussie who are in ExpressMe) I would recommend you going local again as nothing beats being there to watch them race and win.
They are frustrating creatures. We have a tavistock filly that went so so well at the trials and then go foot sore and is out recovering. The owners we have in her are new to racing so they don't understand/are frustrated as to why she isn't running at the moment. That will be quickly forgotten if she wins first up.
Patience is very much the key.

Kind of the other way round. They will play hurt and then break down as they are generally very competitive. That why you need to identify the small things early
