He gave an interview early in the year where he talked about playing 6 v 7. When playing 6 he tries to impersonate Kaino, when he's at 7's he tries to push the ref.
He didn't get those judgement calls right and gave away a lot of dumb penalties. Offsides and not listening to instructions at the breakdown etc
His games at 6 have been high quality

@Chris Yeah I'm sick of this 'the Blues have nearly turned a corner' garbage, if they've turned a corner then they win this game comfortably.

It just amazes me how JP continues to start at hooker. Surely there is someone better in the Auckland region? He is just so mediocre.
