Good win for the Blues, just better. Still a bit shit, but better than a shittier Chiefs team.

For us, it’s time to invest in next year with the remaining games - mainly by finding out whether Debrevensky is worth keeping or not. Plus not fucking up Cane or ALB.

    Deserved win for the Blues!

And it's a good thing that that undeserved try from Tu'ungafasi hasn't cost the Chiefs the win.

Can someone get Robinson a hair-band?

More hair-flicking than at a teenage party

@antipodean to be fair to the chiefs I agree with some earlier coms...not having your 2 main locks plus the impressive Luke Jacobson along with a host of other injuries must take its toll..
Will take the win as a Blues Supporter..!,but was a hard watch at times..!

@Machpants More like the last 5 years. That game was similar to the Waratahs v Crusaders where we were shit but the Chiefs were a lot shitter.

Agreed. The fact the Chiefs have won any games with their injury toll is surprising.

Winning is a habit. It might help take away the panic they demonstrate in the opposition 22.

@Machpants Is that the first time they've used a short-lineout drive? Might be a good idea to reduce to more of a man-on-man contest, rather than one of organisation.

Good god - they've beaten the Chiefs and scored from a lineout drive.

What other hoodoos do they need to put to bed? Maybe Michael Collins plays next week! 🙂

    Ofa had a bloody stormer.

    Scrafton very very good.

Plummer needs to work on goal kicking and his clearance speed but otherwise excellent.

    Stoked to break the streak.

    Brilliant!

A win but against any other NZ side that would have been a substantial loss. Mistakes across the park and poor decision making continue. I wouldn’t say that result marks a turning point just a confirmation of the major fault lines that run through the Blues.

I don't know, TBH, but it seems the blues stuff up every time things start to go on a bit. Really if they don't score quickly they're more than likely to lose it. So that sort of move good for them!

@kev Have to agree. Don't get me wrong it's great to beat another NZ team but this Chiefs side is very weak on paper and we're still making plenty of mistakes on attack. Why the Chiefs opted for the scrum at 18-8 I'll never know as we don't know how to stop a driving maul to save our lives but that's their problem I guess.

The performance was a carbon copy of last week against the Canes I thought.
