@shark Dees have a very winnable roadie to Metricon next round and will need to bank those points as they then travel to West Coast and once home they get GWS. I haven't given up hope but already two wins out of the 8 and we need to win two of the next three to stay in touch.
That was a good win in the end. When you are down on confidence, and down a lot early in a game, coming back is pretty tough.
Dees could still play finals, but you would imagine they are going to have to go 11-4 from here out to do it. They have the talent, but that's not every thing.
Geelong were ruthless on Sunday, just smashed Essendon. Cats and Collingwood looking strongest at the moment by some distance.

@mariner4life Essendon did provide a bit of a formula on ANZAC day on how to frustrate Collingwood and even beat them. Geelong has looked classy.
I’d say Cats, GWS and Pies are out on their own.

I would love to see Gary Ablett win another flag. Patrick Dangerfield not so much.
Forgot about GWS, they humped the Saints without two of their best players.

If they get a good run with injuries, gws are my pick,
Doesn’t mean everything, but the favourites very rarely seem to win this thing anyway lately , particularly this far out ,
Just think they are well placed with talent , have been for a while now , but have a harder edge to them now as they are a bit older and wiser ,
I’m tipping the media to be all over Collingwood and Geelong , and gws to quietly go about their business and pinch it .

Great win to the tigers on the road , injury list is now at 12 , and their VFL team is 5-0 , depth is looking pretty good ,
If they can keep in touch , and start getting players back later in the year , you never know

How aboout Hawthorn smashing GWS? Starting to wonder if anyone can beat anyone on their day in this years' comp. Apart from Carlton. Again.
But then, Carlton beat whoever the other day and definitely can go toe-to-toe - they just lack the polish/conditioning to close out the tight ones.
