Norm Berryman instead of Caleb Ralph? Or Rico Gear?

@mariner4life at Super level Rangi was one of the top tackle bust backs. Recall a couple of seasons he was only behind Nonu in that area.

Would have Brad Thorn ahead of Blackadder and Jack. Jack on the bench.

Blackadder is the ultimate loyalty pick! Great leader but not needed in this team. Thorn for sure.

I believe he's alluding to the fact that most other "all time" selections have an abundance of Polynesians.

Possibly not the best choice of words in light of recent events there though.

Lol... there’s no way Barrett or razor makes it ahead of Thorne... did razor even play 6? Barrett a part time 6 at best.

Chris Jack makes the starting team for me... he’s up there for best crusader of all time I reckon. Gave it his all in every single game.

At Super level there is a good case for Mehrts at 10 and Carter at 12.

Mehrts a better contributor at all levels than Mauger and Carter dipped is toes at 12 enough all throughout his career to be a genuine 12 selection.

@MN5 fair enough that could be explained by the population base of Christchurch through the years smaller Polynesian base when SR started has increased markedly over the last 10 years

Now that we all agree that Blackadder shouldn’t be a starting lock, he is now free to be the coach....

Sticking with the theme though, I guess the only two candidates are Smith or Deans given they have been in the AB coaching setup too.
