Tigers go 4 and 2 for the season thus far. Still not playing great footy, couldn't even beat Melbourne by 50.

Okay, now we have a clear early leader. What Geelong did to West Coast yesterday was pretty fucking impressive.
I think 3 of the final top 4 are now in there, with only Richmond to come in and take Freo's spot.
In the 8 i still expect St Kilda and Brisbane to drop out, probably replaced by West Coast and Essendon, but Adelaide might be finally getting their shit together.
Put a line through everyone else
Fucking Melbourne!! 6 weeks to go from flag contenders to being absolutely no hope. Being demons supporter must absolutely suck.

Yeah that was a tough watch. The Dees looked like they'd found their mojo in Q1 but then barely hung in the next two quarters. I bailed at three quarter time as the writing was on the wall.

@shark Dees have a very winnable roadie to Metricon next round and will need to bank those points as they then travel to West Coast and once home they get GWS. I haven't given up hope but already two wins out of the 8 and we need to win two of the next three to stay in touch.

That was a good win in the end. When you are down on confidence, and down a lot early in a game, coming back is pretty tough.
Dees could still play finals, but you would imagine they are going to have to go 11-4 from here out to do it. They have the talent, but that's not every thing.
Geelong were ruthless on Sunday, just smashed Essendon. Cats and Collingwood looking strongest at the moment by some distance.

@mariner4life Essendon did provide a bit of a formula on ANZAC day on how to frustrate Collingwood and even beat them. Geelong has looked classy.
I’d say Cats, GWS and Pies are out on their own.

I would love to see Gary Ablett win another flag. Patrick Dangerfield not so much.
Forgot about GWS, they humped the Saints without two of their best players.

If they get a good run with injuries, gws are my pick,
Doesn’t mean everything, but the favourites very rarely seem to win this thing anyway lately , particularly this far out ,
Just think they are well placed with talent , have been for a while now , but have a harder edge to them now as they are a bit older and wiser ,
I’m tipping the media to be all over Collingwood and Geelong , and gws to quietly go about their business and pinch it .
