The Blues just can't dictate a game. I mean the Brumbies were just waiting for penalties to get them up the field and then relying on their scrum. You can't complain if your scrum is that bad and you lose. You just can't. Yet the Blues still could have won if they got a more open game. The Blues lost but I don't think the Brumbies actually played any rugby. They just did what they had to. Shit way to lose.

True but how many All Blacks do you need to have a good tight five? You should have enough there already. Obviously your scrum is normally better than that. The Hurricanes have a much worse tight five but we are better at playing to our strengths even if we are getting found out.

Black had a shocker and Plummer seems to have corrected that technical issue where every goal kick was fading badly left to right

Yeah him and Ofa in particular where man handling people. Goal line defence was great.

Scrums and mauls were the massive, massive problem. And Black missed a couple of easy kicks.

Honestly I’m happy Blues lost! Management aren’t worried about winning! They want to give lollipops to lads for trying hard.
