All Black Vaea Fifita 'likes' latest Israel Folau anti-gay outburst

    Fucken moron.

He needs to focus that undoubted physical talent into good performances for the Canes in a fiercely competitive loose forward WC logjam.

As for Folau what an absolute shitcunt he is. Their only truly world class back and he behaves like this knowing full well the backlash he’ll get.

    The ARU should sue him.

Good way to get out of your contract, is taking Saveas spot in that French club?

When he posts it loud and proud on social media, it is everyone's business

He broke the Inclusion Policy of AR (2014) that he signed up to, just the same as everyone who signs up to specific behaviour for their job. He got a warning last time - apparently not this time

If everyone just went about their daily lives and ignored his post the world would be a better place. Instead everyone is running around drawing attention to it, magnifying the problem they assert exists. Does anybody think sacking him will stop him posting religious nonsense?

What does the ARU think his fellow religious PIs think about this outcome?

    I disagree with this 100%.

He’s in an incredibly privileged position, even by pro sportsman’s standards. He’s been clearly warned to tow the line when he’s done this in the past.

    He hasn’t.

He’s upset a whole bunch of sponsors who help foot the bill for his massive salary.

Fuck him and all he stands for.

Make no mistake this has harmed the ARU.

I agree on the merit of your point.

However, ARU have made a stance on this, he's signed the contract and he's broken it. Sacked for breaking what the ARU view to be a very important part of the code of conduct, not sacked for being a backward fool.

What should it matter? Do they all have to group think?

He breached the terms of his contract, all PI players should know not to breach your contract.

If they follow the current UK path .. it could be anything!! Agree it's a worrying trend, however this is pretty important.

I agree that on the basis of the contract he agreed to that it's reasonable. I just have a problem with the persecution of thought that shouldn't have been subject to restriction to begin with. And I say that as someone who considers religious beliefs as stone age idiocy.

Well he only has himself to blame, it was a pretty hateful post.

If I was a manager of a player in the public eye I would be deleting all social media accounts. Having an opinion that is unpopular now costs you your job.

And to be clear, as an Atheist included in his lovely list, he has been sacked for telling large sections of society that they will go to a place that doesn’t exist.

    Very weird really.

I sincerely doubt the strength of Bono's stated convictions.

Oh and as All Black fan, nice work weakening your team in a World Cup year. Should piss off a few other players too. Result!

Your usually amusing level headed posts have taken a turn for the baffling tonight......

Or was it another Wallaby forward who wouldn't get married until same sex marriage was legalised in Oz ?

I'd agree given they drew the line in the sand. A line I don't think should've been drawn where it was.
