The 2019 NRL Preview of the Warriors

@Sneakdefreak Thanks very much for that. Although I have only a very passing interest in league / the Warriors these days I always enjoy your season previews.

Same here.
It would be nice to see the Super Rugby equiv for each team on here.

That's a lot of posting for @Stargazer to do.

Great write up as ever @Sneakdefreak - I see you're fitting in well in your role as Warriors media promoter.
If the recent trial match is pointer poor Fusitua will struggle for ball this year outside Kata-Kearney Jnr (maybe what he deserves for being a judas and defecting to Tonga). He'll also see his defensive stats drop trying to cover for misreads.
Seems a bit strange to have Koro Blair in at loose forward again but he should help shore up the middle. I'd like to see an injury free year for your (and mine) whanaunga Tohu.
Hopefully Roache remains injury free and gets some game time.
Let the hate-watching begin.

Yeah @Sneakdefreak you surely are on the payroll. Well we should be able to afford you now we’ve offloaded SJ.
Heard from a sauce that there might be some controversy coming our way

We've missed on controversy so far so we're due ... it seems weird you saying 'our/we' for a team not from Canterbury. It would likely be impossible to select a Kiwis team of players with the links to Canterbury.

Nice write up. Well done. You missed two warriors I have heard are almost certain to get some game time at some stage this year.
Patrick Herbert - Looks very impressive at centre and the halves. Dragons tried to resign him but he returned back home. The kid can play and carve teams up. Watch out for him if one of two injuries come in.
Tom Ale - Heavily destructive second rower/prop. Built in the Jason Taumalolo mould. Kid already is shifting bodies around at the club and powering through defenders like skittles. Im not kidding when I say he literally looks like a walking fridge. Played a couple of games in jersey flegg last year and broke some record for most line breaks, tackle busts, metres made and offloads in a game. Got instantly promoted to reserve grade. Expected to become a star.

@Nepia I’m sure I saw Fusitu’a score 2 tries on Saturday. I think they finally worked out kata can only pass to the right.
I'm not convinced a leopard has changed its spots on the evidence of one match.

@Sneakdefreak As usual, pretty much the real post of the year!

It’s a big year for me. The Warriors are having their 25th anniversary and it happens to coincides with my own 25th anniversary of my first ever throw the remote at the TV moment....
