Pats should have wrapped this up now. Outstanding from them - this is a spite superbowl for me; Evil Empire against the St Louis L.A. Rams owned by absolute muppets who piss on their fans.

    So, yeah.

Also, BRADY GOAT. He gets that for last year's performance - there was nothing more he could to in a losing cause (which is good as he's been very average tonight).

Thought the play calling and QBing from the Rams was off tonight, the big stage may have got to them

Pats are going to wrap this up so the question is who walks off into the sunset a champion. Gronk is probably a certainty but what about Brady?

During the week Brady said he wasn't going anywhere

Defensive game, reminds me of the 8-7 final against France.. Some call it boring, but the defenses came up with some huge plays.. Especially the Patriots

I agree - it was tense the whole way. Games turn on good plays... I enjoyed what I saw of it

Tom Brady & the New England Patriots are the Cam Smith & Melbourne Storm of the NFL. Fifth SB appearance in eight years.

The more you think about it, the more apt this is.

Consistent success, based around a system, and a couple of all-time football brains leading the way. Role players who would be (and often prove to be) rubbish everywhere else look like fucking stars. Every time you think it is a season too far, they pop up at the business end again.

Julian Edelman just won a Superbowl MVP. Would that guy even be a main target anywhere else?

i watched far too many Goff passes go to no one, or over the sideline, to enjoy it. Neither QB played well (yes the coverage was good), and it was so one-sided. If Brady and the Patriots had really been on, they would have romped that given the ball they had.

John Elway has added yet another new QB to his Denver Broncos - it's Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco.

Broncos trade for Ravens QB Joe Flacco

Broncos trade for Ravens QB Joe Flacco

The Broncos have traded a fourth-round pick for former Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco, Ian Rapoport reports. The exchange was finalized when the new league year began on March 13.

Guess the Case Keenum era is officially over.

If he's got anything left he should be heaps better than any of the dross they've had since Manning left

@canefan More interested in where Case Keenum lands. There are a few teams looking for new QBs in Miami, Jacksonville, New York Giants and Washington.

The NY Giants and Washington are fits for Keenum. His old Minnesota OC is now head coach of the NY Giants while Washington is on the look out for a new starting QB as it appears Alex Smith's injury is career-ending.

He's a SB winner, I reckon he was the best of the bunch (Foles has not been successful elsewhere)

And meanwhile, Colin Kaepenick's phone is dormant as guys like the Peterman get gigs

@canefan Kareem Hunt can get quickly employed by the Browns but God forbid you peacefully protest in the National Football League #ProtecttheShield

Well if that's our bar, lets get Peyton or even Elway back.

Actually, I'm surprised he's only 34. But his numbers are pretty shit. And we have a diminished receiver core to throw to. At least we have a running game again...

I should just be celebrating the fact that Keenum is gone. That was guy is shiiiiit.
