@westcoastie Southee has done a lot more bowling at death. Stats miss a lot of things.
If he gets to bowl at the death, that should boost his average as teams are trying to slog at that point.

Munro was actually a mid-order batsman until a couple years ago. Munro-Guptill doesn't work.
Our spin options - wow - not sure whos where. I don't think Santner is a wicket taker, but hes great at containing. Sodhi doesn't build pressure for long enough, but might pick up the wickets. Haven't seen enough of Astle. Should've given Ajaz a go.
I think Neesham would be in our best XI. CDG and Southee are pretty much like for like. Similar pace, similar batting.
We have a few gaps in our squad don't we...
Not really any place for Munro in the middle order these days.
With Ajaz - I'm not a fan of "giving people a go". That's not selecting. That's what Sir Paddles seemed to do when he was a selector - trying to pull rabbits out of a hat - and he pulled out plenty (of rabbits), while destroying his best marginal players' confidence by repeatedly dropping and recalling them.
I'm almost inclined to tell selectors that they've got 25 player selections (in any form) and then their selecting career is over.

That was just rubbish, Kane.
Threw it away - probably the game as well!
You got a whiff of a BCβs implosion?
Itβs still there for the taking, but Itβll take some sensible batting for the next 15 overs to get us there.

@Gunner It is a long way out to be four down, including most of our "solid" players.
Latham and Williamson were going along so nicely according to my schedule - we had a lot of batting to get us home in the last 10 overs if those two had just pushed it around and kept it on the deck through to 40 overs.
