I'm very happy to see Patriots on the road. Arrowhead is going to be rocking. I think I saw somewhere that Patriots have not won a road playoff game in over a decade.

Have they had a road play off game in the last decade?

They've lost their last 3 away playoff games. All 3 were AFC Championship Games. All 3 to Peyton Manning too. '06 AFC Title game @ Indy, '13 AFC Title game @ Denver, 16 AFC Title game @ Denver.

Not when you are gifted your division

In the 3 year gap since the Patriots didn't make the AFC Championship game, the Jets made 2 of those games.
And then there was the year Brady got injured.

People could argue that the Colts should've been gifted their division.
Broncos would've been gifted their division if they had a good QB.

A lot of teams go through cycles, but it's weird that the Patriots make it this far consistently, even with weakish teams. They beat up a Chargers team that is loaded with Pro-Bowlers. I'm still amazed the Patriots won.

I'd love to see a Pats vs Saints Superbowl. In that case my leave request stays in and I go to a function. If the Pats lose this week it gets cancelled. The Patriots have been my team for as long as I can remember, while I have tremendous respect for the city and people of New Orleans and what they've been through since Katrina. New Orleans is just this beautifully turgid, almost larger than life mash-up of cultures soaked for a couple of hundred years in amazing music, food and booze and I loved the joint.

Wait what? The Broncos would have been gifted their division with a decent QB despite being in a division with the Chiefs (who have a QB who everyone assumes will be the league MVP) and the Chargers who you say yourself are loaded with Pro-Bowlers?

My comment was in response to the Pats gifted their division in the last decade.
    Not just this year.

Crimson Tide QB Hurts transferring to Oklahoma

Crimson Tide QB Hurts transferring to Oklahoma

Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts will transfer to Oklahoma for his senior season.

After staying the season in Alabama and going about his work as reserve QB in dignified silence, Jalen Hurts is off to Oklahoma

Holy cow, watched the first half of the NO v LA NFC title game before leaving for work and NO looked ready to run off with it. LA roared back, but need to score at least a FG to tie starting from their own 20 with 1.40 remaining. Wasn't that the margin of victory in the last game during the regular season?

The Rams are probably about to go for a long FG to tie the game with 20 secs on the clock. Fark, I definitely missed the better half. On the NO 30, I guess that makes it about a 47 yd attempt?

It's OT!! Fitting end to the NFC season. It's shaping up to be a cracker of a day, with the Chiefs and the Pats next

Looks like it was a classic. Disappointing that Brees couldn't go to the Superbowl again but Rams making the Superbowl is big for the NFL since it's LA.

After the first half I thought they were gone. High fives to the defense who kept it close until the offense came to life

Unfortunately the storyline of the Rams-Saints game is going to be dominated by the refs.

Oh really? I'm going to watch the 2nd half when I get home. The zebras didn't call a head first hit on one of the Rams WRs in the first half, that's all I saw.

@canefan yeah a huge non-call on pass interference that would have ended the game and the Saints would have won. Horrendous non call.

So it is essentially golden touchdown?

What happens if all square after overtime?
