@rotated I don't think he's said it much.
And my extreme authority on his outside life comes from a thread sentence where someone may have said he'd made a few million in the rag trade, ergo in my world, he's sweet for income and choices. He'll pick up a club coaching gig quiksmart anyway.
I've a soft spot for krusty, the Irish loved him and he looks like a classic Aussie bloke who'd be a good mate.

@kiwimurph and a board of selectors or some shit.
As someone capable of counting to 23 I am putting my hand up as a candidate, I think that skill will bring something new to the table.

If you can't count to 24, you can't play this game

@kiwimurph it's a blatant plot to have him resign in disgust.

On the face of it - yes.
But at the same time surely ScoJo isn't coming in for significantly less money than Cheika to be his boss is he?

Johnson and Cheika will be joined by a third, independent selector to make up a new National Selection Panel that will oversee Qantas Wallabies squad and team selection. The independent selector will be appointed in early 2019
..and Cheika reports to Johnson. So youād assume Johnson is the head of the selection panel?
I canāt see that working. Cheika will be accountable as coach for a side heās lost control of selecting

Johnson remained in charge of Scotland and the 2014 Six Nations was a disaster, including a 20-0 humiliation by England at Murrayfield and a record 51-3 thrashing by Wales in Cardiff. "Under Johnson, supposedly a guru of attacking rugby, they went through the entire campaign without scoring a single try against any of the other home nations. When Cotter finally arrived, Johnson could not have looked more relieved to be passing the baton," Reid wrote in The Times. Reid noted that without actual coaching responsibilities Johnson "underwent a remarkable transformation" as he concentrated on his director of rugby role. "To all intents and purposes, the fast-talking, wisecracking, larrikin Johnson disappeared from public life. "The disappearing act was so successful that Johnson, the most senior rugby figure in the Murrayfield administration, was not mentioned by name in any of the past three SRU annual reports. The union tried to argue that he was working quietly and diligently behind the scenes; the first part was true, the second part open to question." Reid felt it was "debatable" whether Johnson could be linked to the lift in performance by Scottish clubs. Classy coaches Dave Rennie (Glasgow) and Richard Cockerill (Edinburgh) had been lured by "paying the going rate". "In truth, as nobody really knew what Johnson was meant to be doing, nobody could be quite sure if he was any good at it," surmised Reid.

Nice one Beale....
Video has emerged of a man appearing to snort an unknown substance off a plate while two well-known rugby players watch on. Overnight, a video was widely circulated on social media showing an elderly man appearing to snort something off a dinner plate while three men, including St George Dragons player Corey Norman and Wallabies veteran Kurtley Beale, watch on.

@Machpants besides a potential charge of bringing the game into disrepute, what would you like them to do about a video from 2015?
Aaron Smith got a written warning and sent home from a tour for shagging someone in a public restroom.

Should have got a high five for that.
Obviously he should have been sent home for ā after Davidā though.

Sex in a public toilet is not laughing around with blokes snorting coke. This is on top of so the other stuff he has done, offensive texts and ignoring team rules. He's a dickhead and should be shown the door
The NRL fella got, for some other unspecified stuff too ...sanctions included an eight match ban and a $20,000 fine.

Only someone who knows nothing about Corey Norman would equate his punishment to that specific incident.
I honestly don't know why anyone even blinks at a pro footballer doing coke these days. A huge number of people their age, but without their finances do it, so why do people act surprised when rich young people do it?
