An article promoting the reasons why Adams should be an All Star this year
If Adams was to make All Star that would surely be the Halberg done and dusted. His 'journey' has been a model story of application and willingness to learn and improve.
Averaging 15/10 this season but has slowly improved almost every personal stat in his 5 years.
In a sport awash with pandered egos he must be a franchise owner and coaches dream -

@crucial Saw that. SB Nation isn't always accurate but they are here. Still Adams is on a small market team and as good as he is its not likely he'll get enough votes to be picked.
What is a small market team?
-
@crucial they have a small fan base and not many nationally televised games. So unless youre a superstar like Westbrook or George on that team its hard to get noticed by the wider nba public. Even if you are probably currently a top 5 centre.
OKC are my team, have been since they were the Seattle Sonics and Shawn Kemp was playing. So I was obviously stoked when we got a kiwi and hes basically my favourite player now. He plays hard, sometimes too hard, efficient basketball sprinkled with the odd highlight dunk or alley-oop. But if you follow him in social media one thing you find out quickly is how many people, usually fans on opposing teams, are shocked at how good he is. I'm not because I watch every game he plays but the wider basketball public seem to call him "underrated" a whole lot. For me hes under utilised but the point is he just doesn't get the high profile attention usually required to be an All Star.

Spurs smacked down the Clippers by almost 40 today
-
@mariner4life its funny how much a better more consistent team the clippers are without Paul, Jordan or Griffin.

Steven Adams and Jokic going at in the OKC vs Denver. Admas had 17pts in the first quarter!
Im telling you, he is a 30pt player in the making.
Torrey Craig has 11 and he's an NBL player...

That was a decent game between two pretty even matched sides.
Nuggets are a well coached side. They have 3 key guys out as well in Millsap, Barton and Harris.

I enjoyed it, good game. I enjoy more than I should every time Craig does something good

Another good home win for the Nuggets against the Raptors. Almost had a playoff feel to that game - good defence, low scoring, low turnovers, both teams only really playing 8 guys.
NBL Torrey had another good game and continues to get the playing time with the injuries. Joker is a tough cover given his array of skills and ability to shoot the 3.

I'm kinda liking the love shown to Dwayne Wade as he plays his last games at a bunch of stadiums. Seems to be a genuinely liked guy around the league

@mariner4life he’s definitely improved his standing in the league after having a rep. I wasn’t a fan early on but similar to Lebron, have grown to admire his game and what he’s accomplished.
He’s still got buckets and will find a way to get his 12-16 shots off the bench.

my opinion was based around an article i read about him, his standing in the community in Miami, and the huge amount of work he does there.

just on the NBA, I've recently discovered an NBA forum, and it is absolutely insane. Every 2nd thread is some form of "MJ is better than LBJ, here's why" or vice versa. Then, to break up the monotony, there will be a "kobe is better than everybody". There is generally fuck all chat about current games, it's mainly just potshots between Jordan, LBJ and Kobe fans, or just "that hyped player on your team is straight trash" threads. It's actually pretty funny.
