Lowe in after a kick through and catch by Akira who passed inside for Lowe to score.

Edit: first five kicked it not Akira.

FT: USA 22 - 59 Māori All Blacks

No real stand-out players in this game for me; the pack was generally good. For a team that has had not much time together, I think the MABs played reasonably well.

Glad to see 3 Magpies dotting down.

@stargazer Yeah, the MABs actually looked well drilled for their limited time together.

Ware in the backs and Parkinson in the forwards probably edged ahead for me.

Ware was a revelation in that first half, finally brought some of that 7s play to his 15s game.

Considering the MABs played more than 20 minutes with 14 players, and about 7 minutes with 13, the result is good. Discipline wasn't always good enough, but the ref was pathetic.

Looking forward to the rest of the tour, although you'd have to expect monster scores against tier 3 nations.

@canes4life he got awarded man of the match. Scored two tries. Very impressive athlete. Got stuck in at the breakdown too which was good.

@higgins And yet the Canes keep giving the old hog a contract. Weren't him and Crockett in the same year at school.

@canes4life Very good as he has been all year. Scored a great try too hope he kicks on in Super Rugby as I feel he's an AB in waiting.

@kiwimurph Great news, he would be a starting lock at the Canes for me, but knowing the Canes he probably won't even make the 23.

@canes4life Both locks were among the best, I thought. W-L showed some speed for a big lump. Two tries, one of which finishing off some great work from Lowe, who was good, too.

@stargazer Yeah he is part Fijian. The biggest thing I like about Ice 2 is his work rate. He was immense for Wellington.

@african-monkey He is a big lump aswell, not the tallest but he is really mobile. I can see him and Cridge being a long term lock pairing for the Canes as they are both in their early twenties.

@stargazer Yeah, the rest of this tour could be worrying from a promoting rugby point of view. Might have been better to send the Heartland Cup team to play the South Americans.
