Cricket - NZ vs Pakistan
-
Patel opens the bowling. Not the Dipak version. First ball smoked fro four, and teh carnage has begun.
Frankly, I dno't recognise hald th eplayers out there. Anderson? Looks like a halloween ghost of the past ...
also, this kind of sums up how dominant Pakistan are:
-
11 overs in, 72/2. Highlight is Dannny Morrison standing next to James Franklin. Hard to believe they were both fast bowlers
Also, Sodhi has bowled well, and it's great to see some bloke called Milne. Looks like he could be fast and accurate given the chance ...
-
... de Grandhomme picks one up with a magnificent catch in the outfield by Glen Phillips. 94/4 after 14, a very very good bowling and fielding display so far.
Chasing against this Pakistan bowling outfit is hard, but it would be pretty sweet to finish this innings off well

I;m just following online, looks like we are doing pretty well. 123/5 * (17.6/20 ov)
Edit, 2 balls later. 123/6 * (18/20 ov)
Yep. Anderson with a runout - and we are going well. I still fear this bowling lineup, but we should have enough hitters to get to 130/140 reasonably comfortably

I shouldn't have. Since I started watching we have lost little Kane and just had DGH run out.
THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT.
2.5 hours into the season, and I'm already lashing out a fans Love being a Craps supporter.
needs something special to get home from here

Meant to get up for this but was out late drinking at a Halloween party.
Good to see Munro and Taylor score some runs, and a decent bowling and fielding effort. We really miss Guppy in the shorter forms.
And GREAT that cricket is finally back! I am close to rugby'd out now - bring on summer!
