@northlandallday is he in addition to those I mentioned or replaces 1?
Both Robinson and Douglas looked bad coming off on Saturday.
Forgot Goodhue went off, although pretty sure we finished the game with 2 hookers, 3 props and loosies on the field (after playing just before with 2 hookers 2 props and 4 loosies)
-
Pretty green locking duo and loose forwards, but should also be pretty mobile.
Is a better team than I expected to be named, but jeez, I hope most of those on the Injured list are right for the following weekend!
Time for Hohaia and Tua to step up, great to see Gregory back.
Where has Albornoz come from?
Team Named:
Straker, Moulds, Rinakama
McNamara, Mayanavanua
Stokes, Jacobsen, Matiu
Nock, Debreczeni
Hohaia, Tua
Gregory, Hyland, Wright
Reserves: Matthews, Tu'ungafasi, Atkins, Albornoz, Manu, Sykes, Faiane, CooperUnavailable through injury: Goodhue, Olsen, Robinson, Ranger, Matich, Wright, Douglas, Macilai, Verney, Thoroughgood, Pryor, Roberts-Te Nana
Unavailable for selection: Kitto (whats that about?)
-
Very much a B team apart from a couple of players. 9 or 10 players that are likely or close to guaranteed starters on the unavailable list.
A lot will depend on how well the inexperienced pack competes and how well Nock and Debreczeni play.
Would much rather this line up plays this week than next week!

@duluth as per the preview, I am expecting BOP to finish with a W too.
While I'd prefer to face HB, I think even v Waikato we will put up a much better fight than last weekend, both games the lads will be keen to make a better fist of thier defensive efforts!
-
so looks like Jacobsen out then, and Manu starting, sheesh.

Olsen onto the bench.. he was listed as injured
-
ref missed a couple of little things that have cost us here (MOulds shoulda got a penalty down the other end and then a knock and 2 phases they score)
Still, we just not playing smart enough.
-
could be a 3rd ugly game in the last 4...
-
no way was he supporting his own weight there.
-
not sure if we have much of a game plan at the moment, BOP playing well and we arent.
-
I might go find something else to do...I expected to lose, but like last week, NOT.LIKE.THIS.
-
Manu and Stokes dont really look alike!!
-
that break all came from a crooked throw...but still, we are not helping ourselves, we are making poor decisions and missing tackles and all the bounces are going for BOP
What has happened to Tua? Man I thought he was gonna come into this season and be awesome
-
Some of the 2nd stringers are proving why they're 2nd stringers.
Having no locks at all is really hurting us at lineout time.
19 missed tackles in the 1st half and I wonder if Rinakama and Hohaia contribute most of them? Gregory has missed a few too and that had seemed a strength of his game until today.
Think it's crucial our experienced players like Moulds and Nock play the bulk of the game. Very, very inexperienced team out there.
Think this looks like one of those winds that are easier to play into than with - that won't be any use if we keep missing simple tackles though.
-
Been hard watch,I know it’s a team down a lot of top liners, but the tackling has to be better.
