Good reversal of the penalty.

Nz tight 5 really dominating game but Aussie hanging in there with poor NZ ball control. NZ halves need to control game better, slow it down.
Our biggest issue however is attitude, got the Reiko syndrome at mo, all talk and not backing up, almost cost us at end of half. That attitude is playing into Aussie hands. -
@98blueandgold Yep, Funaki's kicking has been poor.

Louie chapman has controlled game well since coming on, good kicking!!!

@stargazer I wouldn't confuse how long they've been picked with how often they've been able to train. The big difference between these two teams is in the tight five and the fullback.
-
@antipodean I didn't say they had all that time to train together. But I assume they had some trials or training together. How else would they have trimmed the team between mid-July and late August.
-
Probably just from watching school finals as they developed over those months. I doubt Aussie Rugby have the money to send school players to a centralised location to train. WTG may have allowed them to keep more tabs on fitness levels etc though through those months where as NZ may have bit more faith in their schools programmes. Similar with Wallabies & Super Rugby coaches versus NZ.

That should be a card. High tackle.
Edit: apparently not. Penalty only.
I've only been watching from 38 minutes on, but the ref has been pretty good IMO. That one could have been a YC but he asked the assistant ref who had a better view of it and said no card.
