    I'm shown as voting twice

Once on 5/9 (line 18) and also 11/9 (line 45)

I'm almost certain I didn't vote on 5/9. Esp not for Southland to beat Otago

We're all up to date at www.thesilverfern.com/tipping including the all of the scores - and the tipping form is ready so make sure you get in by 7.30pm on Wednesday.

Fiamacho had a fantastic week, the only one who went for the blow-outs and ended with a huge score of 74 - 18 clear of the field. Tim and FarNthHayden the only others to pick 8/8.

The Northland scoring was solid and with Fiamacho's score they thrashed Wairarapa Bush to increase their lead at the top and retain their perfect score. With 2 rounds to go, Northland are already in the semi-finals, Wellington won again to go second and be almost sure of a top 4 place. The other 2 spots look to be between Bush, Hawke's Bay and Harbour-Auckland. Down in the cellar, 3-player BOP scraped their first win over 4-player South Island.

Overall, Stargazer's lead has been cut to just 3 over Langakali with Higgins 4 further back. After plunging out of the top 10 by forgetting to tip last week, Fiamacho has shot back up to 4th just ahead of Gunner.

    Fiamacho 74
    Langakali 56
    Tim 54
    FarNthHayden 54
    KP 51

There is a change to the scoring!!!!

Bay Imports was travelling, missed the first game and then emailed me his picks for the other 7 games - I immediately forgot this! So he wasn't a non-tipper with 19 points, he was actually an active tipper with ..... 25 points. No change to any results, BOP still win their game but by 36-34 and Bay Imports is still beaten in the TSF Cup by Stargazer - but only by 16 points and not 22 ....

It is still on the same link - the number of entries gets longer each week so you need to check the date, anything from the 17th is for this week.

Most of the winners have been obvious so far this week but the margins haven't been easy to get. So while there are a lot of tippers still 6/6, nobody has picked more than 2 margins and so the scoring is relatively low.

    Counties-Waikato 33 - 27 South Island
    BOP 30 - 35 Hawke's Bay
    Wairarapa Bush 40 - 39 Harbour-Auckland
    Wellington 40 - 34 Northland

    Crucial 44
    DK 44
    Langakali 44
    Hydro11 44
    Winger 43
    Cactus Jack 42
    Tim 41
    Higgins 41
    Buck 41
    Waynes World 40

    Crucial 44 v 41 Higgins
    Donsteppa 36 v 36 Stargazer
    Tim 41 v 38 KP
Joan and Mary 34 v 37 Plastered Peni

    Langakali 288
    Stargazer 283
    Higgins 281
    Fiamacho 273
    Gunner 270
    Hydro11 265
    KP 264
    Winger 263
    Donsteppa 259
    Victor 259

    All tables updated at

    TSF Tipping

    TSF Tipping

    The Silver Fern's tipping competition

and the new tipping sheet is online.

If you weren't scoring high 50s or more this week you were falling back as 13 people picked all 8 from 8. Best of the bunch were Hydro11 and Crucial with 64 with Langakali, Higgins, Tim and Buck also 60+. Early leader Stargazer has been hauled in and Langakali now leads by 4 from Higgins with Stargazer a point back and Fiamacho 10 back from him.

There is a gaggle of players behind who are within an outstanding week of being in contention so it's looking to be a close finish with 3 rounds to go.

The top 4 looks set now with Hawke's Bay winning the battle of the bays against a BOP team as woeful as the real team. With just the poor South Island to play, they need just a point to seal the play-offs. Northland lost their first game of the season to Wellington meaning the minor premiership is still up for grabs.

In the Cup, the semi-finals are between Crucial and Plastered Peni and Donsteppa and Tim.

    Hydro11 64
    Crucial 64
    Langakali 61
    Higgins 61
    Tim 61
    Buck 61
    Winger 58
    Plastered Peni 57
    Donsteppa 56
    Triple T 56

    Corkscrew 54

Apologies for the useless "of Plenty" - all but 3 failed on that game. Luckily the pessimistic view of Bay Imports means he was one of the 3 and is also the only player on maximum points after 2 games.

@kiwipie TBF, I really think this season there are only 2 maybe 4 at a push, quality sides running about in both comps; Auckland, Ta$man and Wellington, even Cantabs are poor by thier standards.

Everyone else has had thier moments in the sun, coupled with some absolute shite.

The trouble is, when I worked out all the scores, Bay Imports had made a later submission and switched his pick to BOP ....
